Our sesame seed is recognized by the most discerning international sesame markets for its excellent taste, appearance, and nutritional profile. The ICTA-R variety we carefully select and cultivate with our growers produces a uniformly white seed with a sweet, delicate taste. It is also characterized by its elevated protein and oil content.

Our producers grow sesame in the rich volcanic soils along the Pacific slope of Nicaragua in the departments of Leon, Chinandega and Managua, which provide for the ideal climate and conditions for sesame cultivation. Our producers grow on small plots of land that are harvested by hand at the end of each season.  We have three harvests per year with the largest being the postrera harvest which spans the months of December and January.
